Disable Splash Screen

I needed to do this for the VirtualBox install of Cachy. It could not get past the splash screen.

Press the e key at the Grub menu. Delete the word splash. Press F10 to boot.

You then need to edit Grub to permanently disable this.

sudo nano /etc/grub

1. Delete the word splash
2. CTRL+O to save the changes
3. CTRL+X to exit Nano

You should now see the details of booting rather than the splash screen.
