IMPORTANT: Don't update to .621 until you have root and OTA Rootkeeper installed.

Go to this site Droid X ezSBF Files and download the .605 version. Boot the ISO with your phone connected and root with the ZergRush method. Your phone should reboot and you will have root.

1. Install Voodoo OTA Rootkeeper
2. Backup root
3. Temporarily un-root
4. Install the .621 OTA update
5. Run Rootkeeper and re-root

With phone off, hold the CAMERA button and VOLUME DOWN, then hit the POWER button

With phone off, hold the HOME button and press POWER until you get an exclamation mark. Release the HOME button and press the SEARCH button

Current system mount:
/dev/block/mmcblk1p21 /system ext3 ro,noatime,nodiratime,data''ordered 0 0

Command to remount as rw:
mount -o rw,remount -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mmcblk1p21 /system
