====== Stickel Pickles ======
  - 1 pail of large cucumbers
  - Peel and seed
  - Cut into strips
  - Mix 1 cup pickling lime into 1 gallon of water
  - Soak for 24 hours
  - You can place them in a plastic pail and weight it down with a plate and 3 lb coffee can
  - Drain and rinse well
  - Heat 2 qt white vinegar
  - 10 cups sugar
  - 2 tsp celery seed
  - A few drops of oil of clove
  - 2 tbsp salt
  - heat & pour over cucumbers (just to boil)
  - Let set overnight
  - Then cook until clear(about 45 minutes) and add green food coloring
